So my sister has this thin note. She got it from her son and it was in rough shape, well now two years later it was in even worse shape. Well it died, it has pictures of sons grandma, who passed away earlier this year, and must be saved! Someone said to her" I can take the hard drive out and hook it up to my laptop and get the pictures for you" Guess what? No hard drive!! So they give it back to her all torn apart, she brings it to me.

  I have never seen an ssd drive and this one is apparently onboard. I have the motherboard, my question is, is there a way I can connect the motherboard to an adapter so I can read the files and transfer her pictures?
